Join in an EARTH HOUR evening of switched off solidarity with the earth.
Eat, hold conversations, bring your guitar, sing, recite, rap, dance, draw, write a poem, or a song, yoga, meditation, whatever.
Then at 8.30 pm when the official earth hour time starts -we will write symbolic messages to the earth and hang them on the symbolic earth tree, then stay and chat or take a slow walk home.
Leave the car at home and walk if you’re close, and if you can’t find a get-together happening in your area, rally some friends and get your own thing happening.
Let EARTH HOUR be a little bit of RECOVERY TIME for you, your family and your community after the Summer we have just been through together - fire, flood and record-breaking temperatures unleashing unprecedented disaster. A bit of relaxation and fun, while honouring the earth we live on.
Please make this a zero-waste evening - so do not bring any waste at all.
We come, we leave, you would never have known we were there.
